Nook Industries Introduces ActionJac™ Inline Electric Cylinder
Rugged, Compact Cylinder for High-Duty Cycle Applications in Harsh Environments

Cleveland, OH May 29, 2004 -– Nook Industries, a leading manufacturer of linear motion control systems and components, today announced the addition of the ILA inline electric cylinder, which is designed to withstand the pressures of operating at higher duty cycles in harsh industrial environments, to its line of ActionJac™ linear control products.
The introduction of an ActionJac inline electric cylinder provides a means for using worm gear screw jacks outdoors, in high-containment environments, and in harsh industrial settings. The new electric cylinder is designed to couple a motor or gear reducer directly to the lift shaft, which promotes higher speeds and duty cycles, and can easily accommodate servo motors and planetary gear reducers, providing additional flexibility.
